Robin
€95.00
Perhaps the best-known bird species in Ireland, Robins are found in gardens, woodlands and hedgerows throughout the country. They are also noted for their beautiful song and are the only species that continues to sing throughout the winter. Both males and females are identical but it is always the males that sing. Known for their tameness and charm (such as when they follow gardeners in hope of a juicy worm), they can, in fact, be very aggressive when it comes to defending their territories. This bird was photographed in the Comeragh Mountains, Waterford in June 2022.
